Tivoli Vredenburg asked me to make a poster for an event with rather dark music. In order to still appeal to a broad audience, I was asked, and that was also the challenge, not to make it too dark and heavy. I looked at typical elements from the alternative scene, and I made it a little less heavy by giving it an ironic twist. The use of colour, composition and visual elements have made it an attractive whole, which will appeal to a wide audience.
